Who is Adrian Wells?
One of the founders of Metacognitive Therapy, whose effectiveness has been proven by scientific research, is Ph.D., C.Psychol Adrian Wells. (Other: Dr. Hans Nordahl) He is a Clinical and Experimental Psychopathology Professor at the University of Manchester, UK, and a clinical psychology professor at the University of Science and Technology in Norway.
He is honorary consultant clinical psychologisy in the NHS. He is the originator of Metacognitive Therapy and a leading contributor to cognitive therapy theory and practise. His treatments are cited in NHS NICE guidelines.
