Who is Adrian Wells?
One of the founders of Metacognitive Therapy, which its effectiveness has been proven by scientific research, is Ph.D., Adrian Wells. (Other: Dr. Hans Nordahl) He is a Clinical and Experimental Psychopathology Professor at the University of Manchester, UK, and a clinical psychology professor at the University of Science and Technology in Norway.

He is an honorary consultant clinical psychologist in the NHS. He is the creator of Metacognitive Therapy and a leading contributor to cognitive therapy theory and practice. His treatments are cited in NHS NICE guidelines. He has published over 200 scientific papers, books, and chapters advancing theory, evidence, and the treatment of psychological disorders.
