Free CBT: Guide to Getting Free or Less than $50 Therapy in the USA

If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues and need help but do not have insurance to cover expensive therapy sessions (or cannot afford them), there are options. This article will give you some information on the different types of free CBT therapy available in your area as well as how to find therapists who offer sliding scale rates.

If you are going to get CBT therapy in the USA, you may have to pay an average of $150 to $250. However, you can find a free CBT therapist or find a CBT therapist at very affordable prices. In this article, we will try to explain how you can get affordable therapy services, or free CBT therapy, etc. We spent about 12 hours doing this guiding research. We searched for free CBT Psychotherapy associations, university research institutions, mental illness research centers and psychotherapy centers.

Obviously, although it is possible to find free CBT services, it is not easy. First of all, to get free CBT therapy, you need to check if there is an up-to-date scientific study and apply to participate as a volunteer. The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) publishes current scientific studies in the United States and provides contact information for you to participate.

Is free therapies good for your health?

If you have the time, experiencing a free therapy session may be beneficial. Going to see an massage specialist or getting an acupuncture appointment are good examples of how one might experience benefits from free therapies. The other benefit is that it gives people who are suffering from these conditions another option which could lead to better outcomes for their healing process.

When you examine the studies in detail you can find the treatment method (therapy method), the lead investigator, and contact information. Also, in these studies, psychological problems are studied and the research subject is explained in detail. Visit the “Clinical Trials – Information for Participants” page to learn more about these studies that you can volunteer for.
