Insomnia Psychological Causes

Insomnia means having difficulty falling asleep or not being able to stay asleep at night, non-renewable or non-renewable sleep. Anxiety and depression are some of the most common causes of chronic insomnia. Difficulty in sleeping can also aggravate symptoms of anxiety, stress and depression. Other common emotional and psychological reasons are; anger, anxiety, grief, bipolar disorder and trauma. It is necessary to treat your basic problems, to solve your insomnia.

If the various help techniques mentioned above are not successful, if insomnia puts a heavy strain on your mood and health, make an appointment with an insomnia specialist. Give your doctor as much supportive information as possible, including information in your sleep log.

Therapy and sleeping pills for insomnia

In general, sleeping pills and sleeping aids are most effective when used for short-term conditions. Your insomnia is not treated by sleeping the pills – in fact, they can make the insomnia worse in the long run.
