I have experience working with adolescents with severe emotional and/or behavioral problems, including substance abuse, with both perpetrators and victims of domestic violence, and with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. I use a number of therapeutic approaches, depending on the client’s needs, but cognitive behavioral therapy is a common thread throughout.
I strive to provide a warm, supportive and caring environment in which my clients feel comfortable and relaxed enough to talk about issues which are personal and sensitive in nature. I cherish the therapeutic relationship and welcome feedback from clients about how to improve their counseling experience.
