Psychiatric drugs, which began to be used in a limited area in the 950s, showed an improvement parallel to technology. It also played an active role in the treatment of many disorders until today. This rapid development, especially in the last 30 years, has led to a reduction in hospitalization rates.

Effects of Psychiatric Drugs

Mental disorders can cause serious social problems like committing crimes, behaviors that disrupt social order. Drugs have serious effect on these problems. On the other hand, uncontrolled and unnecessary use of these drugs creates serious economic losses and a negative perception of the therapeutic effect of drugs.

Side Effects of Psychiatric Drugs;

Control of the effects and side effects during drug use plays a major role in the success of the treatment. Lack of adequate dose and lack of timely interventions cause side effects. So it results in a negative outcome of treatment.
